Some days you feel accomplished because you were cleverly able to avert an ongoing civil war at home. If you have kids sharing a bedroom then you may well know how hard it is to design around the shared spaces in the bedroom but you will sit back relaxed if you could use a little bit of creative imagination and keep your child's personal preferences and temperament into consideration.
It's a great idea when you have kids sleeping all by themselves in a separate bedroom and that's when trouble can be anticipated because children especially in their teens are extremely sensitive to their likes and dislike around home. So I thought it would be resourceful for parents who have more than two children to read a few decor tips and designs that they can incorporate in their kids' shared space creating a unique learning and breathing living environment for them.
The first thing you should do is to be extra careful to set personal boundaries within the bedroom by creating niche corners that are reflective of each child's personality, things that they love to collect, or what they are passionate about doing every day. You can design a stylish yet comfortable setting moreover today pink is no more a girl's color and blue, a boy's color. Kids love bright and peppy colors like purple, green, yellow, pink, red, and blue.
But take note that kids, love things that not just feel good but also look good so their study table should be visually appealing to help them study, play, and develop ideas. A study cum computer table with ample storage space that can take care of kids many utilities and a comfortable chair is what your child needs.
Think beyond animated characters that are being part of every child’s room for so many years. The theme of the kid’s room should match the personality of your child. There are many themes available in markets like a starry night, underwater scenery, outer space, airplanes, rainbows, campfire, snow, or jungle theme. To keep the kids going, you can create a play zone with an indoor climbing wall or install a chalkboard art wall or craft paper wall to display their unique artwork. Parents must install good quality overhead lights and wall lamps to light up their child’s room. If your child loves being a rock star, install a spotlight to bring into focus a mini stage. And, if he/she is a nature lover, keep space for at least one window for natural light and fresh air to come in.

If your children are budding artists who want to express their creativity then encourage them to paint vibrant murals on their side of the bed which will give depth and colorful character to the bedroom. Let the doors, windows even cupboards become a canvas for their artistic endeavors. Instead of modern designs try to create a retro or vintage twist to their bedroom...I just love the vintage delicate color palette, laces, and frills of all sorts even today.
